Rachel Simmons and Claire Sannini 


Rachel Simmons is the founder and Program Director of the Girls Leadership Institute.  She is also a New York Times bestselling author of two books:  Odd Girl Out: The Hidden Culture of Aggression in Girls, and The Curse of the Good Girl: Raising Authentic Girls with Courage and Confidence. She is a Rhodes Scholar who attended Oxford University where she did research on female aggression.  Rachel completed her undergraduate degree at Vassar College and has been a classroom teacher in both Massachusetts and South Africa.  She works internationally to develop strategies to reduce bullying and empower girls.
